In The Harvest, players are immersed in a grim and morbid world where they must navigate an abandoned shack and undertake the daunting task of dismembering bodies. This terrifying concept manages to deliver a palpable sense of eeriness and tension that is reminiscent of classic slasher films. However, the gameplay experience is marred by various bugs and glitches, which make the game frustrating to play.

Interactive elements can occasionally become unresponsive, even after repeatedly clicking on them. While you can restart the game to resolve the issue, it becomes a major hindrance when it occurs too frequently. Additionally, issues with lighting and disappearing doors in certain areas of the game can make it difficult for players to properly distinguish where they are and can also disrupt the game’s flow.

Numerous bugs can disrupt the flow

Although The Harvest does suffer from technical issues that can disrupt gameplay, its ability to evoke a sense of suspense and its well-executed 3D visuals make it worth a playthrough for fans of the horror genre. Its unique premise also envelops you in an eerie atmosphere that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire duration of the game. Just be prepared to encounter some incredibly unsettling scenes along the way.
